Policies and Client Information
Services
I provide telehealth therapy for adults across Wyoming, offering accessible, confidential care through a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform—no travel required.
Scheduling and Payment
- Sessions are by appointment only.
- I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming. For clients using other insurance plans, superbills are available at any time through the secure client portal for self-submission.
- Payment is due at the time of service and a credit/debit or HSA/FSA card is required to be on file.
Cancellations
Please cancel or reschedule with 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations and missed appointments are billed at the full session fee.
Tele-Health Requirements
To use telehealth in Wyoming, you must:
- Be physically located within Wyoming during each session
- Be in a private, quiet space
- Have a stable internet connection
- Not drive or multitask during session
If technology fails, we’ll attempt to reconnect once before deciding whether to reschedule.
Confidentiality
Your information is protected under HIPAA and Wyoming law. I must break confidentiality only if required for safety or mandated reporting (risk of harm, abuse of a child/elder/vulnerable adult, or court order).
Communication
Email and text are for scheduling and administrative questions only. I do not provide clinical care or crisis support outside of sessions.
- To provide focused, attentive care, I check and respond to emails and texts during designated times throughout the business day. Messages are not monitored continuously, but I will get back to you as soon as I’m able.
For emergencies, please call 911 or 988.
Social Media
To protect your privacy, I do not connect with clients through personal social media or messaging platforms.
Client Responsibilities
Effective therapy includes:
- Consistent attendance
- Honest communication
- Practicing skills between sessions
- Ensuring privacy during telehealth sessions
Informed Consent
By engaging in therapy, you understand that:
- Therapy will involve discussing challenging emotions, memories, and experiences. This is normal and can be part of the healing process. You may experience temporary discomfort as you make progress.
- Benefits include increased clarity, resilience, and emotional regulation
- You may end therapy at any time
- You may request access to your records
- I do not provide crisis services
Telehealth Consent
By using telehealth, you agree to:
- Confirm your location at the start of each session
- Maintain privacy on your end
- Refrain from recording sessions
- Allow emergency contact if a safety concern arises
Rates
- $170 for a standard 55-minute session
- $195 for a 90-minute intake session (required)
- $220 for a 90-minute couples session
